Our Story

After launching in January 2019, we have done, learnt and grown a lot! 

Here are just a few highlights of our journey so far and some images to represent some of them too...

 

• We won the Premier Digital Up and Coming Blog award 

• We've attended a number of conferences and webinars both online and onsite

• Both the team and community have grown in number and in our relationships with God and one another

• We have run literally hundreds of events and activities online including bible studies, mindful art, themed events, such as art/ craft, pancake day, christmas etc., prayer gatherings, retreats, book club discussions, a virtual Easter egg hunt, christingle services, a blue christmas reflection, and more

• We became members of ThirtyOneEight to ensure we have accountability, training and support and prioritise safeguarding

• We have been invited to review and be involved in a variety of books around the subject of disability, chronic illness and faith/ church

• We participated in a number of articles, podcasts, webinars and radio shows in which we were able to share more about YouBelong and make more people aware of the lack of accessibility and inclusivity for disabled people in the Church and importance of online church
